Dry Tea Leaf:

Appearance: The leaves are slender, predominantly dark greenish fuller leaves. Colour is predominantly bright dark green with silver buds to accentuate the looks.

Fragrance: The fresh tea leaves of spring from this iconic garden has aroma of musk and floral sweet notes


Liquor:

Appearance: Clear and bright shades of the late sunset.

Fragrance: Fragrance of musk coupled with unique sweetness peculiar only to castleton first flush tea along with subtle floral notes in the liquor.

Flavour: The cup is clear and bright. A smooth tea with slightly astringency along with grape like notes pleases the senses. The taste is akin to fresh pines and herbs with subtle mint like sweet fruity finish reminisent of grapes and other tropical floral. This complex taste lingers for a while as an aftertaste.

Castleton is the place where the best Muscatels are grown. This garden is located in South Valley of Kurseong, which has china bushes and is famed for the best Muscatels teas the world has known. This garden was formerly knwon as Kumseri. Elevation os this garden is from 100 meters to 2300 meters.
