Darjeeling First Flush Tea 2014

First flush teas started to arrive from early April and it was made available at Darjeeling Tea Boutique from the very first week. For the past 30days, there were numbers of first flush teas coming into our shelves, and irrespective of when they were available and how long it took for the tea fraternity to accept them with open arms, these were the teas for first flush which made a mark for the month.

SFTGFOP1 Tippy Clonal from Badamtam Tea Estate

Badamtam SFTGFOP1 AV2, Darjeeling First Flush Tea 2014

This tea arrived pretty late. Though it belongs to EX3/14 invoice, we at Darjeeling Tea Boutique had it cataloged in the last week of April. That said, this tea vanished sooner than it had arrived. We may attribute this to its smoother finish and aromatic character akin to AV2 cultivar.

Clonal AV2 from Badamtam Tea Estate

It was ditto for this year as well for this Badamtam wonder made exclusively from AV2 cultivar. Tea lovers had wait months for this particular tea to arrive.

Clonal AV2 from Rohini Tea Estate

Rohini, Darjeeling first flush tea 2014

This first flush champagne from the low lying slopes of the Darjeeling hills makes one wonder what’s in store for years to come when this tea estate has been manufacturing one exclusive branded variety after another. Euphoria, Emerald, Wonder, Thunder are a quite a few sub brands of this tea conglomerate which are now a talking point whenever fresh crops are expected. We are glad we had this particular tea with us for our tea lovers.

Darjeeling Second Flush Tea 2013

April marks the closing stages for 2013 second flush crop and an impending arrival of fresh ones for the year 2014. We had two of these teas which were undoubtedly the very best of 2013 and also for the month.

Darjeeling Autumn Flush Tea 2013

For the autumn flush teas, this month we had this Darjeeling Autumnal from Giddhapahar Tea Estate as our best seller with the autumnal form Jungpana tea estate closely following behind. We would rate both the teas as exceptionally good Autumnal Darjeeling teas for 2013.

Darjeeling Green Tea

For green tea we had a good response for the fresh teas from the first flush 2014 crop. A fresher Green Tea from Dooteriah Tea Estate of Darjeeling.
